Put Your Cans in the Mail

Well, next to the mail if you want to be specific. This Saturday, May 10th, the National Association of Letter Carriers will be holding a national food drive! I called the local DC branch yesterday, and confirmed that they are participating. To donate non-perishable foods to local food pantries, please put your donations into small plastic bags and leave them next to your nearest mailbox. The letter carriers will pick them up on their route and deliver them to the nearest pantry. With food prices spiking, this is an easy way to make sure pantries get the help they need.
