Mark Anderson is a long-time friend of Bread for the City. He does amazing work for low-income and home-bound senior citizens in our neighborhood, and this Saturday he needs your help.
We Are Family, his organization, has a big North Capitol grocery delivery this Saturday at the Metropolitan Community Church followed by a Columbia Heights delivery next week.
He typically has big student groups help with the deliveries, but he does not have one scheduled this Saturday. If you have transportation and are able to help, please contact Mark at WeAreFamilyDC[at]aol[dot]com.
The timeframe this Saturday is 9:30am–1pm. Please meet at:
Metropolitan Community Church
474 Ridge Street N.W.
Washington, DC 20001
